Carlos Condit isn’t one to turn down opponents, but he has one caveat when it comes to a fight with Matt Brown.
After five long years comprised of a five-fight skid, Carlos Condit finally got himself back on the win column on Saturday night. “The Natural Born Killer” defeated fellow veteran Court McGee via decision to pick up his 31st professional career win out of 44 overall fights.
Despite the losing streak, the 36-year-old Condit isn’t thinking about retirement just yet. Apart from a Nick Diaz rematch he’s looking to do, another name the floated to the surface after UFC Fight Island 4 was Matt Brown.
“The Immortal” was apparently tuned in, and he issued this callout on Twitter.
Once I’m fully healed up I think it’s time for me and @CarlosCondit to fight!

“Bubblewrap that dude up so we make it to the f—ng fight,” Brown told reporters when asked about it during the post-fight scrum.
Brown later acknowledged Condit’s response with a touché.

The two men were already booked to fight each other twice in the past, in 2013 and 2018. Both matchups were scrapped after Brown pulled out due to injuries.
Brown, 39, last fought in May against young up-and-comer Miguel Baeza. He lost via TKO in the second round, snapping a two-fight win streak.
