UFC superstar Conor McGregor is in trouble with the law again.
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is under arrest once again, this time in Florida.
The Irish superstar has been in South Beach celebrating his mother’s 60th birthday, but has been booked for allegedly smashing a man’s phone (supposedly worth $1,000) outside the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel.

An arrest report said the incident occurred Monday when a man approached McGregor and attempted to take a picture of McGregor while exiting the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel.
”The defendant slapped the victim’s phone out of his hand, causing it to all to the floor. The defendant then stomped on the victim’s phone several times, damaging it,” the report reads.
McGregor then picked up the phone and walked away, according to the arrest report.
The Miami Herald also added that the alleged incident occurred at 5 AM.
McGregor has been charged with “one count of strong-arm robbery and one count of criminal mischief valued at $1,000 or more dollars.” In Florida, strong-arm robbery is a second-degree felony. The criminal mischief charge is a misdemeanor. His two charges combined have resulted in bond set at $12,500.
It was almost exactly a year ago that McGregor’s bus attack during UFC 223 fight week led to his arrest in New York on multiple counts of assault and criminal mischief. He struck a deal and pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct, with all other charges dropped and no mark on his criminal record. Conor was sentenced to community service, anger management evaluation, and paying restitution for damage inflicted on the bus.
McGregor is currently serving the remainder of his six-month Nevada Athletic Commission suspension for his role in the brawl that ensued after his UFC 229 loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
