Reug Reug was hit in the throat right after the bell.

ONE on TNT 4 went down last night live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium. In the main event Myanmar’s Aung La N Sang dropped a second belt to Dutchman Reinier de Ridder in as many contests.

Last time Aung La N Sang met de Ridder he was upset for his ONE Championship middleweight title with a shock first round submission. Last night they met for Aung La N Sang’s ONE Championship light heavyweight title and de Ridder snatched that, too, thanks to a dominant decision win.

The co-main event saw OK Rae Yoon drop former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez on route to a decision victory.

The strangest result of the night came in the fourth pro fight for Senegalese wrestling sensation Oumar Kana (aka Reug Reug). He took on Belarusian Kirill Grishenko. At the end of the second round of their contest, Grishenko caught Kane with a punch flush to the throat just after the bell sounded.

Kane went down and looked in obvious distress. It was ruled that he could not continue and Grishenko was awarded a TKO victory. However, questions remain over whether the bout should have been called a no contest because Kane was incapacitated with what must have been an illegal blow. The fight could have also been ruled a DQ win for Kane if the referee judged that the foul was intentional.

Check out video of the incident below:

ONE seems to have the ability, and willingness, to change the results of fights when something iffy happens. They just did this with Alvarez’s last fight, where he was given a red card (automatic DQ) for what were deemed illegal punches to the back of Iuri Lapicus’ head. ONE announced recently that the result of that bout had been changed to a no contest.
