Caraway was expected to cop a plea, but never showed up for the pre-trial hearing.

An arrest warrant has been issued for UFC bantamweight veteran Bryan Caraway.

The 40 year-old “Kid Lightning,” who made a name for himself on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), made the Insurance Commissioner’s “Most Wanted” list in Washington State — for the second time — after failing to appear for his pre-trial hearing in Benton County Superior Court.

“Caraway failed to appear for Pre-Trial Conference after being charged with Forgery RCW 9A.60.020(1) (a) & (b), False Statement on Vehicle Application Certificate of Title RCW 46.12.750 (1) (a), False Claims or Proof in excess of $1500 RCW 48.30.230, and Attempted Theft 1 RCW 9A.56.030 (1) (a) and RCW 9A.28.020,” according to the official release.

Caraway (22-9), once ranked in the Top 5 at 135 pounds, is accused of forging the title to an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) belonging to ex-girlfriend and former UFC champ Miesha Tate, buying an insurance policy to cover said vehicle (and its related equipment), then reporting it stolen.

Tate, cooperating with investigators from the onset, was able to provide surveillance video of Caraway, along with incriminating text messages. “Cupcake” also claimed Caraway threatened to “strangle” her and steal back the ATV.

Caraway’s brother, Thomas, has also been charged with insurance fraud in an unrelated case.
