Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, has the greatest chance — out of any active mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter — of defeating 205-pound kingpin and longtime rival, Jon Jones.
But former UFC light heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz, think he’s better suited to dethrone Jones than the shorter, stubbier “DC,” and would only need an 18-week fight camp to get the job done.

Cormier’s response? A simple “LMAO” … which is probably not the only time that acronym was used in response to “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.” That said, fair play to Ortiz, as this is not some new gimmick to promote his Alberto del Rio fight for Combate Americas.
Like fellow hall-of-famer Chuck Liddell, Ortiz has been saying this for years.
Pardon the cliche, but Jones has bigger fish to fry — literally — as the heavyweight division is rich with potential money fights. Aside from a Cormier trilogy, “Bones” can put butts in seats by challenging killers like Francis Ngannou.
We’ll probably have that answer after this happens.
