The upcoming UFC Fight Island 7 event — which is set to go down on Jan. 16, 2021, on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates — has lost another fight as a result of COVID-19 after Anthony Hernandez produced a positive reading.

As a result, his scheduled bout against Rodolfo Vieira has been rescheduled to go down at UFC 258 on Feb. 13, 2021. More recently, a fight between Brian Kelleher and Ricky Simon was also bounced from the event because of COVID-19.

Hernandez is coming off a first round knockout defeat at the hands of Kevin Holland this past summer, his second loss in three UFC bouts. As for Vieira, he is undefeated (7-0), which includes winning his first two bouts inside the Octagon via submission.

UFC 258 currently does not have a headlining act, though a fight between Kelvin Gastelum and Ian Heinisch is expected to be one of the featured pay-per-view (PPV) bouts. The event will also feature the return of Maycee Barber as she takes on Alexa Grasso.

UFC Fight Island 7, meanwhile, will feature a Featherweight bout between former division champion, Max Holloway, taking on Calvin Kattar, while Santiago Ponzinibbio takes on Li Jingliang in the co-main event.
