Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is scheduled to be drug tested on Tuesday, which would be her second random drug test in less than a week, according to California State Athletic Commission executive director Andy Foster. Just like the first time, Justino will only have her urine tested.

Foster told MMAFighting.com last week that Justino would need to pass any random test prior to her Invicta FC 11 featherweight title fight against Charmaine Tweet on Feb. 27 in Los Angeles as a condition of licensure. According to Foster, Justino’s first test came back negative for any drugs of abuse (recreational drugs), however, he has yet to find out whether she was clean of any performance-enhancing drugs. He’s expecting to receive the results of both tests next week, before her title fight.

When asked why he is testing Justino again, prior to getting the results of last week’s urine test, Foster said, “as a wise man once said, Better to be safe than sorry.”

Justino, 29, tested positive for metabolites of the anabolic steroid stanozolol following a Strikeforce fight in California in Dec. 2011. She has not fought in California since then.

As for Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano, who will be fighting the following evening in Los Angeles at UFC 184, and who have already been randomly drug tested once, Foster said he expects those results later this week or early next week.
