Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo stepped into the cage to face off with UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

Two giants from their respective sport faced off in the cage in Las Vegas today. On one side you have perhaps the biggest draw in MMA – the UFC featherweight champion himself, Conor McGregor. On the other side, you have Real Madrid superstar, and the centerpiece of the Euro 2016-winning Portuguese soccer team – Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo took to Instagram to post a picture of the two men squaring off while Ronaldo visited McGregor’s camp:

Great to see you bro!!

If you can’t see it, Ronaldo’s caption says “Great to see you bro!!”

McGregor also posted his own image on Instagram with the two men together:

The caption reads: “My brother Ronaldo dropped by the gym today! He is an animal. Thank you @cristiano, much respect! I will see you for that Forbes number 1 spot next year. #ThisIsTheMacLife”

McGregor is currently preparing for his big welterweight rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 next month in Vegas. Ronaldo, who suffered a knee injury in the finals of the Euro tournament against France, has been on holidays since his country took home their first major European trophy. It is still unclear if he will miss the start of the La Liga season with Real at this point.
