Cub Swanson out at WEC 48; Leonard Garcia now meets Chan Sung Jung

Cub Swanson’s oft-injured hands have once again
forced him out of a planned WEC 48 bout, with newcomer Chan Sung Jung, and Leonard Garcia has
agreed to fill in.

MMAjunkie.com confirmed the change, first reported by Sherdog.com, with sources close
to the event. One source said Garcia, who trains with Swanson,
immediately contacted WEC officials and offered to fill the vacant slot when it opened.

Featuring a heavily anticipated featherweight title fight between
current champ Jose Aldo and WEC posterboy Urijah Faber, WEC 48 takes
place April 24 in Sacramento, Calif., and airs live on pay-per-view.
