UFC president Dana White has a response to Jorge Masvidal’s recent demands.
Jorge Masvidal’s highlight reel win over Ben Askren at UFC 239 definitely boost his stock value as a fighter. With the record-setting victory, some feel he’s already primed for the next title shot.
“Gamebred” himself believes he’s deserving of the next crack at the 170-pound belt. He even jokingly issued a warning to Dana White about sending in some cavalry to make the UFC president agree to what he wants.
@danawhite better give me my shot or I’m sending @YoelRomeroMMA to help him make the right decision #supernecessary https://t.co/tSp0ozfc8l

A fight between Masvidal and Conor McGregor was also brought to the table, which White already shut down. Recently, the outspoken UFC brass once again spoke out about Masvidal’s demands.
“You can’t make ultimatums,” White said about Masvidal (via MMA Fighting). “Listen, we’re going to offer him a fight, and if he accepts the fight, he does and if he doesn’t, he doesn’t.”
Retired fighter and former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen spoke about the Masvidal-McGregor fight, stating how a matchup of such a magnitude would be difficult for the UFC to turn down.
