Brok Weaver’s Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut will have to wait a bit longer, as the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series (DWTNCS) alum has been bounced from his fight against Thomas Gifford — set for Saturday’s (Oct. 12, 2019) UFC Fight Night 161 — with an injury.
There is good news for Gifford, though, as Mike Davis has agreed to step in on less than a week’s notice to fight him in Tampa, Florida. Mike is coming off a submission loss to Gilbert Burns, which went down this past April at UFC Fight Night 150 in what was his UFC debut.

As for Gifford, he is coming off a loss to Roosevelt Roberts, also at UFC Fight Night 150, in what was his own UFC debut. Now, each man will look to get his first win inside the Octagon in sunny Florida.
UFC Fight Night 161 will be headlined by a women’s Strawweight bout, as former division champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, will face Michelle Waterson. In the co-headlining act, Cub Swanson takes on submission specialist, Kron Gracie.
