The upcoming UFC 303 pay-per-view (PPV) event will feature the light heavyweight title fight between reigning 205-pound champion Alex Pereira and former division titleholder Jiri Prochazka. The action gets underway this Sat. night (June 29, 2024) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Referee Herb Dean will oversee all five rounds for the “Pereira vs. Prochazka 2” main event, according to MMA Fighting, with judges Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato and Ron McCarthy scoring the bout from cageside. Referee Marc Goddard called Pereira’s first (and somewhat controversial) finish over Prochazka at UFC 295.
“I will win the fight,” Prochazka told The MMA Hour. “I will win the fight and I believe in that and I will do that, that’s all. I will not step into a fight where I don’t believe in that, in myself. I already accept that I will do everything and right now is the great chance to show that.”
We’ll find out in just a few days.
