Maybe he sold some of Putin’s real estate.

It’s time to give back that Ferrari and unfreeze those bank accounts.

Former UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, found himself in the crosshairs of the Federal Tax Service in Russia, thanks to an outstanding debt of $3.4 million. It appears that bill has been paid, according to a new report from Telegram channel SHOT.

Guess we can cancel that UFC comeback.

Nurmagomedov, 35, retired from combat sports back in late 2020 and seemed content to raise sheep (and cell phone towers). After originally distancing himself from the rigors of MMA, “The Eagle” has resurfaced in recent months to help corner his friends and family.

“For us, this is gift from God,” undefeated Bellator headliner Usman Nurmagomedov said during a recent Bellator media call (via Sherdog.com). “People like Khabib, this guy is like, you cannot find like this guy like around you. This is so hard to find some someone like Khabib. He support us so much, he’s helping. And he know everything about MMA like nobody know. And when he in camp this is different, like everything is different, you’re feeling different. You like learning so much, you grow up yourself so much and this is like I’m very thankful for God because of Khabib we have.”

Nurmagomedov finished his career with a perfect 29-0 record with 19 finishes.
