The beef between current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and the promotion seems to be settling down.

According to “Mighty Mouse,” he has already met with UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard and everything seemed to go well. But after going through that hoop, Demetrious says it’s now time to meet with the big boss and clear up any misunderstandings.
“Everything stands good. I already met with UFC once, with Mick. It was just a big misunderstanding and we are going to meet with Dana White,” said Demetrious during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour. “Dana is a grown ass man and I am, too. He’s got kids, I got kids and we are going to sit down and get on the same level and go from there and see what offers we have.”
Johnson says he hopes the much-anticipated meeting to take place at UFC 214 on July 29, in Anaheim, California. As far as what he expects to go down, he’s not to sure. One thing he won’t do, however, is continue to fight it out with Dana on the internet to avoid looking like C-level celebrities.
“It’s a working process. These things don’t change over night and it was just a big misunderstanding and now we are going to sit down and talk about it. I don’t think it’s good to have two grown men fucking bicker on the internet We’ll end up like Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian. That’s what we’re going to do in two weeks.”

As far as his return to the cage to try and break the title defense record, Johnson says that is unclear at them moment, as he is currently letting an injured hand heal before he gets back into the swing of things.
But, “Mighty Mouse” is confident his next opponent will be Ray Borg, and not TJ Dillashaw. And Dana White reluctantly agrees.
