‘Mighty Mouse’ will take on Adriano Moraes for the ONE flyweight title on Feb. 24.

Demetrious Johnson will have the opportunity to become a two-promotion champion when he takes on Adriano Moraes for the ONE flyweight title on Feb. 24.

Johnson, the former UFC flyweight champ, was originally scheduled to challenge Moraes at ONE Championship: Reign of Dynasties in April but the fight was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The matchup has been rescheduled, ONE announced earlier today, but no venue or location has been revealed as of yet.

“Save the date! Demetrious Johnson is BACK on 24 February against ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano Moraes.”

Moraes is the three-time ONE flyweight champ, with two title defenses under his belt. The Brazilian last fought in January 2019, when he beat Geje Eustaquio via unanimous decision at ONE Championship: Hero’s Ascent to reclaim his title.

Mighty Mouse, on the other hand, is 3-0 since signing with ONE in 2018 but hasn’t fought since he won the flyweight grand prix last October.

Expect ONE to announce full details for the matchup in the coming weeks.
