Despite status downgrade at WEC 52, Erik Koch still thrilled with latest win

LAS VEGAS – Just two short weeks ago, WEC featherweight prospect Erik
Koch was preparing for what looked to be the most
important fight of his life.

Then in a flash, it was all torn away.

Despite the last-minute change in plans, Koch said he’s as happy as ever
with his current position in the WEC and expects bright things in the
very near future.
