Diego Sanchez is ready for another new weight class.
Sanchez, the last remaining cast member from The Ultimate Fighter 1 on the UFC roster, will meet Ricardo Lamas at featherweight on the Nov. 21 UFC Fight Night card on Nov. 21. UFC.com reported the news Thursday.
The move to 145 marks the fourth weight class for the 33-year-old Sanchez (25-7). He won TUF 1 as a middleweight, then spent his career bouncing between welterweight and lightweight, with the latter weight class being where he found his greatest career success.
Sanchez has lost two of his past three, with his last bout a highly controversial win over Ross Pearson in June, 2014.
Lamas (15-4), meanwhile, is a former featherweight title contender. He’s won six of his past eight fights, with the only two losses along the way coming to champion Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes.
