Former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw calls for a championship rematch against Dominick Cruz on Instagram.

T.J. Dillashaw lost in a razor-close decision to Dominick Cruz last month and he isn’t happy about it. The two bantamweight rivals fought in a technical back-and-forth scrap at UFC Fight Night 81 and Dillashaw believes he should have retained the title. So does Bloody Elbow’s Connor Ruebusch.

Cruz reclaimed the belt after he was forced to vacate it in 2014 due to a series of career-threatening injuries. “The Dominator” extended his win streak to 12 and wants to settle unfinished business with Dillashaw’s former teammate, Urijah Faber.

TJ, however, wants to avenge his loss to the two-time champion in an instant rematch and called out Cruz on Instagram (h/t Damon Martin of Fox Sports).

“Only equipment needed for the rematch against Cruz. Next training camp is going to be strictly running marathons and pillow fighting. Cause that little bitch doesn’t want to fight he wants to run and throw his pillows around that he calls fists! @danawhiteufc @ufc Give me the rematch to get back what is rightfully mine and should have never lost. No more being respectful or nice cause that doesn’t seem to get you S#%T anymore.”

T.J. Dillashaw seized the 135 lbs. championship after outclassing Renan Barao in a shocking upset at UFC 173. The Ultimate Fighter 14 finalist defended the belt against Joe Soto and dominated Barao in a rematch before being dethroned by Dominick Cruz.

Dillashaw and Cruz formed a heated rivalry in the run-up to UFC Fight Night 82 and a rematch could take priority over Cruz vs. Faber III.
