UFC Vegas 97 will make some history inside UFC’s APEX Facility this weekend (Sat., Sept. 7, 2024).

The final fight of the preliminary card will see Featherweights collide when Isaac Dulgarian (6-1) takes on Brendon Marotte (8-2). According to DraftKings, Dulgarian has surpassed Bo Nickal as the biggest favorite going into a fight as oddsmakers have him as the -2400 favorite to Marotte’s +1200 underdog status. In some books, Dulgarian is as high as -3335 to Marotte at +1300, per BestFightOdds.

Unlike Nickal, Dulgarian will enter the Marotte fight looking to rebound off his first career loss, a split decision against Christian Rodriguez in March 2024. Meanwhile, Marotte will make his sophomore appearance against Dulgarian as he too hopes to rebound after a 20-second knockout loss to Terrence McKinney in October 2023.

UFC Vegas 97’s main event will see Top 10 Welterweights look to climb the ladder as Gilbert Burns squares off with Sean Brady.
