Eddie Yagin vs. Junior Assuncao targeted for UFC 135 in Denver

A featherweight bout between Tachi Palace Fights champion Eddie Yagin and returning fighter Junior Assuncao is in the works for UFC 135.

Assuncao’s team announced his return overnight, and MMAWeekly.com identified Yagin as his opponent. MMAjunkie.com subsequently confirmed the planned matchup.

UFC 135 takes place Sept. 24 at Denver’s Pepsi Center.
