Up until his last fight, when he was stopped via strikes by Li Jingliang in August, Elizeu Zaleski (21-6) was on a seven-fight winning streak, with four stoppage wins, holding victories over names such as Omari Akhmedov, Max Griffin and Sean Strickland, among others. Before the Jingliang bout, the 33-year-old’s only other UFC defeat came back in May 2015, when he dropped a split decision to Nicolas Dalby.
Undefeated when he joined the UFC, Alexey Kunchenko (20-1) bested two seasoned veterans in Thiago Alves and Yushin Okami in his first two Octagon appearances, but lost his perfect record in his last outing, back in August, when the 35-year-old was defeated via decision by former lightweight Gilbert Burns.
UFC Fight Night 170 in Brasilia, Brazil takes place on March 14 and streams live on ESPN+. So far, no official main event has been announced for the card.
