We’re just a few more days away from one of the most-anticipated pay-per-view (PPV) events of the year, as UFC 244 is set to go down inside Madison Square Garden in New York City this Saturday night (Nov. 2, 2019).
The event — which is available through ESPN+ — is set to feature a Welterweight matchup between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal, who will collide for the “BMF” title. More importantly, however, the winner will likely earn himself a shot at the 170-pound strap.
In the co-main event, Kelvin Gastelum will welcome Darren Till to the Middleweight division, though that bout is currently in danger of getting scrapped since Till is having issues getting into the country. No fret, Jared Cannonier is on standby just in case “The Gorilla” can’t make it.
Stephen Thompson and Vicente Luque, meanwhile, will collide in a pivotal showdown at 170 pounds, while Johnny Walker and Corey Anderson collide at Light Heavyweight in what could lead to a title shot against pound-fro-pound great, Jon Jones.
Before fight night rolls around, get some behind-the-scenes footage of fight week, as all fighters go though the final steps in preparation for fight night. Thank to the ever-present cameras of “Embedded,” we now get to get a detailed look at all of preparations.
