It’s fight week!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is rolling out its “Embedded” video blogs for the upcoming UFC 235 pay-per-view (PPV) event, headlined by the light heavyweight title fight pitting champion Jon Jones against top division contender Anthony Smith this Sat. night (March 2, 2019) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Lionheart” is convinced he’s going to win, but you knew that already.
“Jon beats a lot of people before they leave the locker room,” Smith said. “Jon is almost like a snake charmer. He lulls people in and forces people to watch him. People are waiting on him and you just can’t fight him like that. You gotta bring the fight to him. Jon is a great martial artist, but I’m a way better fighter. I’m gonna force Jon to fight.”
That might be a bad idea, based on this.
Also getting the “Embedded” treatment is the welterweight co-main event between champion Tyron Woodley and challenger Kamaru Usman. “The Chosen One” doesn’t make an appearance in today’s episode, but we did get a closer look at the “Nigerian Nightmare” as he picks out a new dress for his daughter.
