Khaos Williams knocked Abdul Razak Alhassan out cold at UFC VEGAS 14: ‘RDA VS FELDER’.

The co-main event between Khaos Williams and Abdul Razak Alhassan promised action. And it certainly delivered. Williams took less than 10 seconds to completely starch Alhassan with the first punch he threw. Williams earns the most impressive win of his career. Astonishing power from the Detroiter.

The classic striker vs. grappler battle played out with Ashley Yoder vs. Miranda Granger. Granger landed a few nice strikes, both on the feet and on the ground. And Yoder did her thing, too. She took Granger down and looked for submissions, sometimes from unorthodox positions. They mostly canceled each other out until the third round when Yoder got Granger down and kept her there. She secured mount and then got Granger’s back and was seconds away from ending the fight with a rear naked choke when the final bell wrung. In the end all judges sided with Yoder, with some pretty wild scorecards.

Sean Strickland used some veteran savvy to wear down the younger, and dangerous, Brendan Allen. He was patient in letting Allen come forwards and was able to catch and hurt him with strong punches off his back foot. Allen was able to land, too, but not as heavily or as often. Midway through the second round Strickland’s punches started piling up. A clean left hook cracked Allen on the jaw to send him sprawling towards the canvas. A few more punches from Strickland and it was over, he gets two wins in as many weeks.

In a match-up of two 21-year-olds, Cory McKenna and Kay Hansen swung for the fences, tagging each other with hard punches throughout their bout. In addition to threatening on the feet, Hanson was also able to get takedowns and attempt submissions. That versatility wasn’t enough to cancel the volume and added power McKenna had with her striking game, though. The Welsh fighter earned a unanimous decision, despite suffering a leg injury late in the fight.
