Derrick Lewis delivers eloquent response to Ciryl Gane and a French reporter at UFC 265’s pre-fight press conference.
A French reporter entered enemy soil at the UFC 265 pre-fight press conference and was served a major L by Derrick Lewis.
Lewis (25-7) and Gane (9-0) will headline UFC 265 in a UFC Interim Heavyweight title fight, taking place inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on Sat., Aug. 7, 2021, via ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV). Ahead of the fight, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) set up a pre-fight presser
“Derrick, how would it feel to get beat by a Frenchman in front of your fans?” the brave reporter asked the “Black Beast”.
“You’re going to have to excuse my French, but f—k you and f—k him,” Lewis replied to an overwhelmingly approving roar from the Houston crowd.
The winner of Lewis (no. 2) vs. Gane (no. 3) will be the rightful challenger to UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou’s crown. Other notable bouts on the card include ranked bantamweights Jose Aldo vs. Pedro Munhoz in the co-headliner, plus Michael Chiesa vs. Vicente Luque, Tecia Torres vs. Angela Hill and Song Yadong vs. Casey Kenney.
