At last, the heavyweight title will be married in June.

The UFC announced on Monday that heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will fight interim champion Fabricio Werdum on June 13 in Mexico City.

The two were supposed to fight in the November when the UFC made its maiden voyage south of the border. When Velasquez — who last competed in Oct. 2013 against Junior dos Santos — suffered an injury in training camp, Werdum was given a new opponent. He defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 180 (TKO) to win the interim title.

The 32-year old Velasquez (13-1) will look to make it four wins in a row against Werdum. Since losing his belt to Dos Santos in 2011, he has since beat the Brazilian twice. He also defeated Antonio Silva twice, one of them a title defense.

The 37-year old Werdum has won five fights in a row. Before defeating Hunt he scored an impressive victory over Travis Browne at UFC on FOX 11 last April (unanimous decision).

UFC 188 will take place at the Mexico City Arena on Saturday, June 13.
