Face Off! ‘Predator’ Stares Down ‘Cigano’ In Minneapolis

Top 3-ranked heavyweight contenders, Francis Ngannou and Junior dos Santos, came face-to-face earlier today at the conclusion of the UFC on ESPN 3 ceremonial weigh ins, which took place roughly 24 hours ahead of tomorrow night’s (Sat., June 29, 2019) mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza inside Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The winner is widely expected to get the next crack at the 265-pound crown, being contested in the UFC 241 pay-per-view (PPV) main event this August in Anaheim, Calif., between reigning division kingpin, Daniel Cormier, and ex-division champion, Stipe Miocic.

Also coming face-to-face at the UFC on ESPN 3 weigh ins were flyweight rivals Joseph Benavidez and Jussier Formiga. Like their heavyweight counterparts, the winner here will likely move on for a 125-pound title shot.
