Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has cleared all the pre-fight hurdles (that we know of) for the upcoming UFC 261: “Usman vs. Masvidal 2” pay-per-view (PPV) event, taking place this Sat. night (April 24, 2021) inside VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, where fans will return to the venue in full capacity.
UFC 261 will be headlined by the 170-rematch between reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and bitter rival Jorge Masvidal, as “Gamebred” attempts to show the combat sports community how a full camp will change the outcome of their first go-round.
Check out their weigh-in staredown embedded above.
In the UFC 261 co-main event, also scheduled for five rounds of action, women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko makes her return to the Octagon for a Jessica Andrade title defense, shortly before women’s strawweight queenpin Zhang Weili goes head-to-head with ex-champ Rose Namajunas.
