Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender, Darren Till, recently put pen to paper for a Jorge Masvidal fight in the UFC on ESPN+ 5 main event, which takes place Sat. March 16, 2019 inside O2 Arena in London, England.
Till (17-1-1) was last seen falling to Tyron Woodley in their short notice title fight, thanks to an impromptu vacation taken by Colby Covington. “The Gorilla’s” submission loss to “The Chosen One” was the first of his professional career, after disposing of Stephen Thompson and Donald Cerrone, among others.
Masvidal (32-13), meanwhile, recently snapped a three-fight winning streak by coughing up close decisions to Demian Maia and the aforementioned Thompson. “Gamebred” averaged three fights per year dating back to 2012, but sat out for all of 2018.
Watch them face off at the conclusion of Wednesday’s UFC London press conference in the embedded video above.
Whoever comes out on top is likely to face the winner of Leon Edwards vs. Gunnar Nelson, who were named UFC London co-main event, giving Woodley and Kamaru Usman plenty of time to handle their business at UFC 235.
