Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently held a special pre-fight press conference for the upcoming UFC 234: “Whittaker vs Gastelum” pay-per-view (PPV) event, going down on February 9, 2019 inside Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

Taking center stage was Middleweight champion Robert Whittaker who collides with No. 1 contender Kelvin Gastelum in his first-ever bid at a UFC world title after running through every contender put in his way. Robert, meanwhile, looks to defend his strap after defending last summer against Yoel Romero at UFC 225.

Also getting some airtime at the special UFC 234 press conference were Anderson Silva and Israel Adesanya, who will collide in the co-main event in a highly-intriguing 185-pound fight which could produce the next title contender in the stacked division.
