Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has signed, sealed, and will soon deliver its welterweight headliner for the upcoming UFC on ESPN 9 mixed martial arts (MMA) event tomorrow night (Sat., May 30, 2020), as former 170-pound champion Tyron Woodley returns to action against streaking division standout Gilbert Burns.
Both fighters made weight today without incident (get full weigh-in results here).
Woodley (19-4-1) has not competed since losing his 170-pound strap to reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman back in March 2019. Burns (18-3), meanwhile, has rattled off five straight wins, including his technical knockout victory over Demian Maia last March.
Watch them face off in the embedded video above.
