Max Griffin and Song Kenan faced off in a Welterweight clash tonight (Sat., March 20, 2021) inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada at UFC Vegas 22.
Griffin opened the bout with a flurry, but Kenan avoided the best of it. The two wasted little time in trading shots. Griffin scored with a good combination then ducked into a takedown attempt along the fence. Kenan stuffed the shot but ate a right hand soon afterward. The Chinese athlete threw a lot of kicks and scored with some good jabs. Chopping low kick from Griffin. Song found a clean right hand, as well as a few body kick. Out of NOWHERE, a 1-2 from Griffin puts his foe TO SLEEP!
Griffin started this bout quickly, and it paid off! He found his range quickly, and when Kenan threw a kick from too close, a right hand backed him into the fence, where a final 1-2 sealed the deal.
Griffin has now won two straight.
