Bellator MMA
Bellator 188: “Lahat vs. Labiano” took place Nov. 16, 2017, at Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel. Originally set to feature a “Pitbull vs. Weichel” rematch that fight fell apart because of a knee injury, leaving Noad Lahat (11-3, 2-1 Bellator) and Jeremiah Labiano (11-5, 2-1 Bellator) on top searching for a third win in Bellator MMA’s stacked Featherweight division.
Ironically, the main event was the only fight on the main card that went the distance. Every other bout on the main card ended by submission in the first round, including a Middleweight battle between John Salter (14-3) and Jason Radcliffe (12-4).
Although Radcliffe found some early success stuffing a takedown, he was ultimately unable to stop the relentless Salter from yanking him to the ground, taking his back and sinking in a rear-naked choke for the tap at 1:55.
If you want to see some “excellence of execution” that comes from Gardendale, Ala., instead of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, then John Salter is the man to watch in this replay.
