Immediately, the two traded heavy hooks to start the round. It was Felipe firing volume, however, wading through his foe’s heavy swings to press him into the fence and keep firing. De Castro scored a good combination then attempted a double leg! Felipe stuffed it. The action stalled a bit along the fence with de Castro doing the pressing. It wasn’t exciting, but de Castro earned a couple minutes of control by doggedly jamming his foe into the fence and occasionally throwing some small punches.
