Tony Ferguson is being Tony Ferguson again, as he has offered to help prepare Brock Lesnar for a fight with Jon Jones.
With talks of a heavyweight fight between Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar circulating, Tony Ferguson has offered his services to his former The Ultimate Fighter coach to prepare for the fight.
Ferguson’s comments won’t come as much of a surprise as the top lightweight contender, was on Team Lesnar during The Ultimate Fighter season 13, is known for his wacky personality and unorthodox training style.
After winning season 13 of ‘TUF’ Ferguson (25-4) has gone on to have one the most impressive UFC records throughout all weight divisions. “El Cucuy” has lost just twice in just 17 fights defeating the likes of Donald Cerrone, Rafael Dos Anjos and Kevin Lee along the way.
Ferguson replied to Jones’ recent call-out of Lesnar on Twitter, saying he would love to help his old coach Lesnar in camp for the fight.
That’s A Fight I Would Love To Help In Camp. Train Side By Side Like Old Times W/ Coach Lesnar Again # CountMeIn @BrockLesnar @HeymanHustle #TeamLesnar4L #TUFGUYS ?? -CSO- pic.twitter.com/dVeg9sKais

“That’s A Fight I Would Love To Help In Camp,” Ferguson wrote. “Train Side By Side Like Old Times W/ Coach Lesnar Again.”
Lesnar is on the open market after his recent negotiations with the WWE were put on pause by both sides. UFC president Dana White has said if both Jones and Lesnar want the fight, he is willing to make it happen.
The former UFC heavyweight champion Lesnar turned 43 in July and hasn’t fought since his win that was turned to a no-contest against Mark Hunt in 2016.
