Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the pay-per-view (PPV) market last Saturday (Aug. 15, 2020), staging UFC 252 from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, Stipe Miocic defeated Daniel Cormier to remain the Heavyweight champion, a win that came one year removed from his knockout win over “D.C.” at UFC 241.
With the win, Mioicic erased any and all doubt as to who the better Heavyweight is between the two. After the fight, Cormier put a bow on his storied mixed martial arts (MMA) career, which means he and Stipe can now go back to being “texting buddies.”
In the co-main event, Marlon Vera knocked out Sean O’Malley to hand him his first-ever loss (recap here), while Jairzinho Rozenstruik knocked out Junior dos Santos, also in the opening round (relive it here).
Now, you can watch all the action go down in super-slow motion, courtesy of the “Fight Motion” video embedded above. And for much more on last weekend’s UFC 252 extravaganza, head over to our event archive by clicking here
