Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the pay-per-view (PPV) market last Saturday (Aug. 17, 2019), staging UFC 241 from inside Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. In the main event, Stipe Miocic knocked out Daniel Cormier to reclaim the Heavyweight title in dramatic, come-from-behind fashion (see it again here).
In the co-headlining act, Nate Diaz picked up his first win after a three-year hiatus by defeating former Lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis, in a thrilling Welterweight collision (highlights). Indeed, the Stockton slugger didn’t seem to skip a beat despite his extended break from the hurt business.
Also, Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa took home “Fight of the Night” honors for their thrilling Middleweight showdown that saw “The Eraser” take a unanimous decision win over “Soldier of God” (highlights).
Now, you can watch all the action go down in super-slow motion, courtesy of the “Fight Motion” video embedded above. And for much more on last weekend’s UFC 241 extravaganza, head over to our event archive by clicking here.
