Finally on main card, L.C. Davis hopes WEC 47 win establishes him as top contender

Despite a four-year career that includes stops in the International
Fight League, Affliction and Sengoku organizations before his current
run in the WEC, L.C. Davis still hasn’t established
himself on most casual fans’ radar.

But with a main-card contest with fellow up-and-comer Deividas
Taurosevicius scheduled for the main card of Saturday’s WEC 47 event in
Columbus, Ohio, Davis hopes to use an impressive performance to gain
the public’s attention and put himself in line for a shot at one of
the featherweight division’s elite fighters.

“Winning this fight is
very important to me because I want to move forward,” Davis recently told
MMAjunkie.com Radio. “One loss will set
you right back in the thick of things.
