Finding silver lining in Daniel Cormier loss, Devin Cole motivated for Strikeforce return

Back in July, Devin Cole scored a unanimous-decision victory over Shawn Jordan at Strikeforce Challegers 17 to snap a two-fight skid.

It was a welcomed victory for the 35-year-old veteran heavyweight.

But Cole – who returns at Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Masvidal” event – might actually consider the preceding loss a more impressive performance.
