There might be trouble in paradise for Rafael Fiziev and Kevin Lee, the greatest love story ever told.
Rafael Fiziev and Kevin Lee are having a little trouble in paradise.
Fisiev (9-1) has been desperately waiting for a fight ever since beating Renato Moicano at UFC 256 in December. Despite the fact that Fiziev knocked out Moicano, the latter has since had another fight while Fiziev is still without a scheduled opponent.

Back in April, Fiziev made an amusing little video calling out Lee. It was in good faith as far as Fiziev is concerned; however, his former Tiger Muay Thai teammate appears to be giving him the cold shoulder.
“I saw him one time and I said, ‘Wow, Kevin hey, my bro.’ And he didn’t say anything (in return). Yeah, I saw him in (Thailand at Tiger Muay Thai, where both used to train). He’s a cool guy. He talked good with everyone in the gym. Nice person, you know,” Fiziev told South China Morning Post (h/t BJ Penn). “But maybe he’s angry at me because I invited him to fight. I don’t know, but when I invite him and he doesn’t say anything, this is like love. I love him, and sometimes we love a woman and this woman doesn’t love us, and we try to do something. You know how it is? I feel bad because he didn’t say anything.”
Fiziev has not competed in the UFC since beating Renato Moicano via first-round knockout at UFC 256 on Dec. 12. He currently rides a three-fight winning streak with additional wins over Mark Diakiese and Alex White.
