Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem has heard all of the
talk regarding his hulking frame.
The horse meat jokes, the accusations of steroid use, the idea that he
was avoiding fighting in the U.S. because of the drug screening process
in place stateside – the “Demolition Man” took it all in stride.
After all, as Overeem said following his successful title defense over
Brett Rogers in the main event of Saturday’s “Strikeforce St. Louis:
Heavy Artillery” event, proving the critics wrong was all just a matter
of time.
