Former IFL champ Ryan McGivern joins Bellator’s season-two middleweight tourney

Ryan McGivern (13-6 MMA, 0-0 BFC), a former International Fight League champion, has joined
the field for Bellator’s Fighting Championships’ season-two
middleweight tournament, Bellator officials today announced.

McGivern is the sixth fighter to join the eight-man tourney and
looks to claim $100,000 and a guaranteed title shot with season-one
winner and current champ Hector Lombard.

McGivern enters Bellator with three wins in his past four fights, though he’ll enter the tourney on a 16-month layoff.
