Terrance McKinney will make his UFC debut this weekend in “The Grand Canyon State.”

The fact that “T.Wrecks” is competing at all is nothing short of amazing, especially when you consider his run-in with law enforcement back in 2014. And by his own words, alcohol mixed with acid and ‘shrooms is probably not the best cocktail to toast police.

“I ended up seeing demons, I was very incoherent, I was pretty much out of my mind,” McKinney said. “When they tried to engage me I started going crazy so they had to tase me, like multiple tases, I ate it like it was nothing. They finally got me down and was able to restrain me and get me to the hospital and that’s where I ended up dying twice. I didn’t even know I died, that was the scariest part. It really just made me settle down and think, ‘Is this what I want, or do I want something better?’”

McKinney, now 26, would make his professional MMA debut in 2017, where he worked his way up the regional ranks to earn a spot against Matt Frevola at the UFC 263 pay-per-view (PPV) event this Sat. night (June 12, 2021) inside Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
