How powerful is Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Conor McGregor?
Well, according to division rival Frankie Edgar, who doesn’t appreciate the “circus” his sport has become, the “C” in UFC stands for “Conor.” Something “Notorious” echoed during his recent appearance with Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole on FOX Sports Live.
Onrait: “Do you think you’re more powerful than anyone in the sport right now, including Dana White?”
McGregor: “Nice little word play at the end. I’m certainly very powerful, I’m neck-and-neck [with White], but I don’t abuse power. I simply come through time-and-time again. You’re damn right, the ‘C’ in UFC stands for Conor.”
Careful, we don’t want to start a rift.
McGregor is making the media rounds to promote his upcoming UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) main event against Nate Diaz, which takes place on Sat., March 5, 2016 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
