According to Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn, Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua is set. Again. Never mind those last times where it was announced that Fury vs. Joshua was set. This time it’s really set!

The news comes via ESPN, with Hearn saying Saudi Arabia will play host to the heavyweight superfight for all the alphabet soup titles: Joshua will defend the IBF, WBO, WBA and IBO titles while Fury holds the WBC belt he took off Deontay Wilder.

“August 7, August 14, I think it’s a very bad secret that the fight is happening in Saudi Arabia,” Hearn said in an interview with Sky Sports. “It’s the same people we did the deal with for Andy Ruiz; that event was spectacular. As partners they were fantastic as well. We’re very comfortable. Anthony’s comfortable, he knows those people. They delivered on every one of their promises last time. We’re ready to go.”

We’re sure Tyson Fury will be excited to know that the fight is finally on the verge of coming together. He’s been harassing his management and Joshua’s non-stop, but with COVID being the pain in the ass it is, the bout has been slow to lock in.

With this big fight being announced for what feels like the fourth time now, let’s hope all there is left is to peg either August 7th or August 14th and then we’re off. This will be one of the biggest heavyweight fights in modern history. We can’t wait to see it come together.
