Justin Gaethje doesn’t think Charles Oliveira should be eligible for a title shot.
What has Charles Oliveira done to earn a title shot at 155 pounds?
Won eight in a row, finished Kevin Lee, set the record for the most submission wins in UFC history and dominated former interim lightweight champ Tony Ferguson.
But that’s not enough according to Justin Gaethje, who put ‘Do Bronx’s’ record on blast on social media earlier this week.
Sick of hearing @CharlesDoBronxs deserves anything. Other than Tony what the fuck has this dude done to get a shot at a title? pic.twitter.com/VyTMaLnBDl

“Sick of hearing [Charles Oliveira] deserves anything,” Gaethje posted on Twitter, adding a screenshot of Oliveira’s eight-fight winning streak. “Other than Tony what the f*ck has this dude done to get a shot at a title?”
Gaethje credited Oliveira for ‘stacking up dubs’ but is adamant the Brazilian hasn’t done enough to earn a title shot.
Credit for stacking up dubs but that’s now how this works.

“Credit for stacking up dubs but that’s now how this works,” Gaethje wrote in a follow-up Tweet.
One thing is for sure, Oliveira is currently more deserving than Gaethje, who was manhandled on the ground before being submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254.
‘Do Bronx’ was recently offered a short notice bout against Michael Chandler at 258 but turned it down. The Brazilian is adamant his next fight will be for the UFC lightweight title.
