Top 15 Lightweights will run it back in early 2025.
No. 8 ranked Lightweight Mateusz Gamrot will collide with No. 11 seeded Rafael Fiziev on Feb. 1, 2025, inside The Venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to Red Corner MMA.
The two 155 lb. fighters competed against each other at UFC Vegas 79 in Sept. 2023, but the fight ended in the second round after Fiziev blew out his knee, causing an injury technical knockout (TKO).
Gamrot (24-3-1) had his three-fight win streak snapped in his last outing, losing a ‘Fight of the Night’ split decision to Dan Hooker at UFC 305. He defeated Jalin Turner, Rafael Dos Anjos, and Fiziev in those three wins.
Fiziev (12-3) has not competed since tearing his ACL in his left leg and is on the first two-fight losing streak of his career. Before losing two straight, the 31-year-old rattled off six wins, including Renato Moicano (watch highlights), Bobby Green, Rafael Dos Anjos, and Brad Riddell. Mateusz Gamrot and Rafael Fiziev
