Live coverage of Ryan Garcia vs. Luke Campbell, streaming exclusively on DAZN.
Boxing kicks off its 2021 schedule with a really good 12-round main event on DAZN.
Ryan Garcia (20-0, 17 KOs) is getting the biggest step up in competition of his career, as the 22-year-old sensation battles two-time title challenger and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell (20-3, 16 KOs) for the right to take on Devin Haney for the WBC lightweight title.
LIVER SHOT! Watch Ryan Garcia’s vicious body shot KO of Luke Campbell
Garcia has been christened by Golden Boy Promotions as boxing’s next big superstar. Will he be one? Well first thing he needs to do is get an impressive win over a world-class opponent, of which Campbell qualifies as one. Campbell is coming off a spirited but clear decision loss to Vasiliy Lomachenko.
It should be a fun scrap that will tell us a lot about both fighters. In fact the undercard is quite good as it includes Rene Alvarado defending his secondary WBA 130 lbs title against Roger Gutierrez, while brother Felix Alvarado puts his junior flyweight title at stake versus DeeJay Kriel in what could be the best fight of the night.
