Former bantamweight champion Petr Yan will return to action opposite ex-flyweight titleholder Deiveson Figueiredo in a 135-pound showdown for the upcoming UFC Macau mixed martial arts (MMA) event, recently made official for Sat., Nov. 23, 2024 at Galaxy Arena in Macau, China.

Yan (17-5) snapped a three-fight losing streak by outpointing Yadong Song at the UFC 299 pay-per-view (PPV) event back in March. Figueiredo (24-3-1), ranked two spots below “No Mercy” at No. 5, has captured three in a row, including last month’s decision victory over Marlon Vera at UFC Abu Dhabi.
The promotion hasn’t been to Macau since UFC Fight Night 48: “Bisping vs. Le” in 2014.
The UFC Macau card will also feature multiple showdowns from the “Road to UFC” series, including Xiaocan Feng vs. Ming Shi (strawweight), Dong Hoon Choi vs. Kiru Sahota (flyweight), Balgyn Jenisuly vs. Su Young You (bantamweight), and Bin Xie vs. Kangjie Zhu (featherweight).
