Glory’s latest card sees them heading to Copenhagen for the first time with an event highlighted by a Welterweight world title fight. Champion Nieky Holzken sees action here for the first time since his controversial decision win over Murthel Groenhart at Glory 26. Holzken looks to make his 2nd defense of the belt here against physical challenger Yoann Kongolo, a relatively new name in Glory who comes in off a solid win at Glory 26. Holzken is one of the best pound for pound fighters on the planet today, and you could make a strong case for him being #1. Always good to see him in action.
The other highlight here is an excellent Heavyweight tournament that features the Glory debut of the tough and exciting Ismael Londt, plus the return of Jahfarr Wilnis. Winner gets a shot at champion Rico Verhoeven.
UPDATE: The co-main event has changed, as Niclas Larsen has been forced out of the bout. Replacing him will be, interestingly, Glory Featherweight champion Serhiy Adamchuk in a non-title Lightweight fight.
